After completing his degree in Business Administration & Engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering, Florian worked in project management and business development & sales at Linde AG for almost ten years.
He then spent five years managing the strategy for the process engineering businesses of Thyssenkrupp AG (chemical plants, cement plants and mining equipment) before expanding his experience to the tech sector.
At relayr - a subsidiary of Munich Reinsurance Company with a focus on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) - he advised industrial clients on digital business models & solutions as well as Go-to-Market strategies for over three years. As Director of Customer Success, he was P&L and upselling responsible for the implementation of several projects. Most recently, he acted as Vice President of EMEA Sales.
In addition to his educational & professional background, Florian is certified as AI Manager (IHK) and as Product Owner (Scrum).
Ever since 2024, Florian is self-employed full-time.
